The Wisdom of God!

The general belief, it is Satan also called the Devil who is the author of “evil, darkness, and wickedness”. Now how could God assert all these?

· Isa 45:7 I form the light and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

· Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city and the people are not afraid? shall there be evil in a city and the LORD hath not done it?

In the wisdom of God, however, these are bait or enticement for Satan, the “old serpent” help our Lord gather “His chosen few”. Satan learned a lesson on how to attract people. Thus, only the deserving would God gather in His Eternal Kingdom. Very difficult, indeed, for the Natural Man to accept this truth (1 Co 2:14).
God created man in His own image to be His eternal companion (Gen 1:27). This is a long process until we read “man became to multiply on the earth”, and Satan in the form of a serpent succeeded in tempting EVE. She represents the people “male and female”. Spiritually, however, people are “spiritual female” for they will become the “wife of God” (Gal 3:28).

· Isa 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name…

· Jer 3:14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family…

The plan of God was interrupted when Satan in the form of a “serpent” succeeded in tempting EVE, and so the people no longer are worthy to become “bride of GOD” (Rev 21:2).

Only God can redeem mankind with His covenant or testament of salvation (Gen 17:7). This requires the “death of the Maker” (Heb 9:16-17), but God is a “spirit”. Therefore, God had to manifest Himself in the “flesh” (1 Tim 3:16), taking the form of MAN, now in the person of JESUS CHRIST (Luk 2:1-7). Unknown to many, actually JESUS was performing two (2) roles, as “Father God” and “Son of God” in one body. Jesus as Father, His birth in a manger the shepherds worshipped Him (Luk 2:7-14), so the wise men from the East (Mat 2:11). His role as “Son of God” Jesus clearly attests “my Father is greater than I” (Joh 14:28). His role as “Son of God” Jesus acts as a model in “spiritual humility” to the chosen.

In the four gospels, these two distinct roles of JESUS CHRIST is clearly defined and identified. For example, when the rich young man inquired Jesus, “Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life (Mat 19:16 )? Jesus answered, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God (Mat 19:17). In another instance, Jesus said, I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. (Joh 5:30)

Jesus in His role as Father performed many “physical miracles” that great multitudes followed Him. The “Old Serpent” watching, learned a great lesson in attracting people!

· He fed 4,000 men, beside women and children, with “seven loaves and the fishes” (Mat 15:32-38). In another occasion, He fed 5,000 men, beside women and children, with five loaves and the two fishes (Mat 14:13-21).

On several occasions, Jesus raised persons from the dead. In Luk 7:11-15 Jesus raised a man from the dead in the presence of many people. For close friendship with Lazarus, brother of Martha and Mary Magdalene (Joh 11:1-4), Jesus raised him from the dead after 4 days (Joh 11:17), suspending “judgment”:

· Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

He healed multitudes sick of divers diseases and cast out many devils. (Mar 1:34, Mat 21:1–11, Mar 11:1–11, and Luk 19:28–44.

Of course, the Devil was very happy learning lesson how to entice great multitudes of people! Very clear, however, Jesus Christ said His miracles are for the “soul”:

· Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (spiritual).

Therefore, “physical” miracles that benefit the BODY have their “spiritual” equivalent for the SOUL. Today religious sects are aspiring to perform physical miracles to attract memberships. Truly so, religious people are enamored for “miracles”, which in the eyes of God are “wonders” as warned:

· Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Today this truth is open to everybody, but Natural Men (1 Cor 2:14) cannot distinguish the “spiritual” from the “literal-physical” without divine revelation (1 Joh 2:27).

All these were revealed when Jesus descends from the Mount of Olives towards JERUSALEM where people gave him a hero's welcome during the Jewish Passover celebration. The multitudes that went before laid their clothes on the ground, cut branches of trees, and shouting HOSANNA to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; HOSANNA IN THE HIGHEST!.” (Mat 21:9)

It was in JERUSALEM where Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross, and there His real purpose was revealed - to save the SOUL (Joh 6:63). Look how the crowd transmuted their perception of JESUS CHRIST! The soldiers bound and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor (Mat 27:2). Pilate asked the crowd, whom shall I set free “Jesus or Barabbas” (Mat 27:17). They shouted “Barabbas”! And for JESUS in unison, they shouted “Crucify him”! (Mar 15:13). Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, “Crucify him! Crucify him! (Mar 15:14).

As to the death of Jesus on the cross, His dual roles as “Father” and “Son” are clearly identified and distinguished in our website: “TWO MYSTERIES IN THE HOLY BIBLE” (Keys to salvation).
